The Awaited Transcription Software Update

12025.07.09

The long awaited update to the transcription software has finally been pushed through. Now the software is context aware of words and can distinguish them based on parts of speech. This was made possible by using the spacy library (see the RAEA page for more details). Furthermore, the script as a whole has been cleaned up. In light of this we have retranscribed Alice In Wonderland with the updated program. If any problems are found using the software don’t hesitate to send an email about them and we’ll try and get them fixed. Till next time!

RSS, Gemini & Software

12025.07.05

We have added rss(atom) support. So now all can stay up to date with the latest happenings with our projects. Furthermore, we have additionally added a Gemini server. The Gemini server will host more blog style content as a behind the scenes of our world and thus will be largely different than what lies on our web server, and additionally all articles will be available both in classical and reformed english. Our gemini content can be found at gemini://reformeuropa.net.

For those unfamiliar with Gemini, check out their quickstart page. A good browser recommendation would be Lagrange.

Finally, some work has started on our raea transcription python program. A verbose option and handling of em dashes and slashes have been implemented. More work is currently underway to handle words in varied parts of speech.

As always, we wish you all well!

RAEA Overhaul, Social Media

12025.07.01

The RAEA has seen a large overhaul. Not only has the booklet been visually reworked, but so too has the rules surrounding the RAEA. In light of this, Alice in Wonderland has been updated to meet these changes. Additionally, we are now on social media! Check out our links at the bottom of the page to stay in the loop!

RAEA Update, Tooling Available, Alice in Wonderland

12025.6.24

There has been a moderate update in the content of The RAEA pdf. These changes largely add some additional context. Additionally, the tooling surrounding the RAEA has been uploaded for those who want to attempt to machine transcribe content themselves. Finally, Chapters I-V of Alice In Wonderland have been uploaded transcribed with the RAEA. It is not a perfect (or final) transcribing of the book, but should provide a nice amount of content, should one want to engage a bit with how the reform would work in reality.

RAEA Released, Slight Tweaks

12025.6

This has been a rather quick turnaround, but we are happy to present our newest release The Reformation American English Alphabet. This is a more conservative proposal to bring English spelling (and the Latin Script) to meet the needs of the Americas. Additionally, slight fixes/tweaks were pushed into both other projects regarding naming and minor grammar.
